Negli ultimi decenni si è avvertita una forte esigenza di riflessione scientifica sul corpo inteso come dispositivo cognitivo, affettivo e relazionale. Il presente volume raccoglie i contributi dei relatori che hanno partecipato al Simposio Internazionale su Embodiment & School tenuto nel 2019 presso l’Università di Salerno, si sviluppa secondo un’articolazione che riflette, capitolo per capitolo, le tematiche delle sessioni sviluppate e si conclude con un’appendice di riflessioni e prospettive, grazie all’apporto scientifico di altri colleghi esperti dell’area. Si tratta di un primo passo affinché la valenza scientifica del fenomeno dell’Embodiment, tanto enfatizzata nella comunità internazionale, possa trovare terreno fertile nel contesto scolastico italiano.
In recent decades there has been a strong need for scienti?c re?ection on the body intend-ed as a cognitive, affective and relational device. This volume collects the contributions of the speakers who attended the International Symposium on Embodiment & School held in 2019 at the University of Salerno, develops according to a structure that re?ects, chapter by chapter, the topics of the discussed sessions and ends with an appendix of re?ec-tions and perspectives, thanks to the scienti?c contribution of other interested colleagues and experts in this ?eld. It represents a ?rst step for the scienti?c value of the Embodiment phenomenon, so emphasized in the international community, to ?nd fertile ground in the Italian educational context.
