This volume stems from the experience in the Tirocinio Formativo Attivo (TFA) and Percorso Abilitante Speciale (PAS) courses for English teachers the editors of the volume were involved in as teacher educators at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures – University of Verona. The volume aims at representing a resource to innovatively articulate the connections between scholarly knowledge in literature/culture, World Englishes and ELF, and teacher reflection with the continuously evolving demands of teaching and teacher education. The volume is divided into three main sections, each related to a different but complementary area in teacher education for prospective English teachers. Each section comprises an introductory chapter delineating the theoretical framework related to the topic in the section, followed by examples of lesson plans for classroom practice.
