The circular economy as a focus of human sciences is somewhat new and has not been throughly dealt with in a sociological and pedagogical perspective. This book series aims at collecting a number of relevant scientific contributions on the topic of the circular economy, ranging from pedagogy to sociology, with a special focus on multi-disciplinary reserach on values and projects on a sustainable direction in economic development. The entire publishing project is built around a number of areas of interest: the euristic importance of human resources training; the socio-economic analysis of how specific territories and green jobs are reinforced in specific communities; the socio-cultural proceses and the educational projects put forward in smart cities and finally the importance of communicating sustainability.
